
The energies are intense on this planet right now – they have been for a long time and will continue to intensify as we move closer and closer towards the final bifurcation – or the point of singularity.
I’m noticing that more and more people are getting triggered by things that are not aimed at them, that were never aimed at them, but that they chose to take personally.
External events that they internalise creating more division at a time when we perhaps should be focused upon unity.
We can see this in the larger landscape too. People get “offended” by things that really have nothing to do with them – but they make it their business to complain.
The name of an ice cream is offensive to some….
The name of a local cheese is offensive to some…
Different flags in different places are offensive to some…
And our traditional holiday seasons and reasons are offensive to some…
If you are getting triggered by something, it usually points to something that you saw or heard that matches an unresolved pattern, memory, belief or fear that already lives within your system.
That’s why other people can look at exactly the same thing and NOT be triggered.
When you are triggered, it shows that you are interpreting a neutral event through a personal filter.
In other words instead of observing what was said, or what was done as being “not about you”, you have collapsed the perspective and made it all about you – because you have a personal wound that resonates. It could be from this lifetime or another because many timelines are collapsing in to be integrated right now also.
With awareness you will see that the trigger is just highlighting to you that you have something in your system that is unhealed, hyper-sensitive or fragmented and seen from this perspective “what triggers us” can be a blessing as it shows us exactly what we need to work on as part of our internal healing process and personal shadow work.
Of course it’s different when it is a personal attack upon you – when you are named, shamed or projected upon but I’m not referring to that here.
I am referring to something said, written or done – that actually has nothing to do with you and is external to you…
In this case, that external field resonates with an internal distortion that you hold, and your system reacts to the frequency match — not the intention of the original event.
If we could learn to take a breath and sit with something before allowing our trigger response to take over we could avoid activating the anxiety spiral and unnecessary agitation of our nervous system.
Once we can see our trigger – with awareness – we can feel into it, learn from it and then return to coherence. This is the story of our ongoing personal development work.
