Something interesting begins to happen when you reconnect with your inner knowing and begin to trust it again. You begin looking back at your life differently, and your life purpose can start to come into clearer view.
Experiences that once seemed random start to feel as though they may have been connected all along.
Certain challenges appear more than once.
Certain themes repeat themselves in different forms.
Situations arise that seem to push you to develop strengths you never expected to need.
At the time those experiences can feel confusing, frustrating or even unfair.
But when you step back and look at the broader span of your life, a different perspective sometimes begins to emerge.
You begin to see that the very experiences you once struggled with most deeply may also have shaped the very qualities you now carry within you.
Strength.
Compassion.
Discernment.
The ability to recognise truth.
The ability to remain steady when life becomes uncertain.
In my experience, the challenges that shape us most deeply and feel like our deepest core wound, often point directly toward the work we are here to do in the world.
The very places where we have struggled, questioned or searched for answers frequently become the places where we later find meaning, understanding and our soul purpose.
I often find that when people reach this stage of reflection, a new question begins to form in their mind.
Not:
“Why did this happen to me?”
But something slightly different.
“What was this preparing me for?”
That question can change everything for you.
Because when you begin looking at your life through that lens, the past often starts to reveal a very different story.
Experiences that once felt meaningless begin to make sense.
Challenges that once seemed like obstacles begin to look more like preparation.
And sometimes you realise that the very things you once wished had never happened may have played a significant role in shaping who you have become… and what you are really here for.
It does not mean those experiences were easy.
Or that they were desirable.
But it does mean they may not have been without purpose.
And when you begin to recognise that possibility, you often start to see your life with entirely new eyes.
Not as a random sequence of events.
But as a path that may have been preparing you for something that you are only now beginning to understand.
