There comes a point where making a decision is no longer optional. You realise that you can’t carry on like this and something has to change.
You’re not the person you used to be… but you’re not fully living in the truth of who you are yet either.
And for a while, you can exist in that space.
You can see your patterns, and you catch yourself sometimes.
You make small shifts here and there and you have some successes along the way too, so you tell yourself that you’re moving forward.
And I’m sorry if this sounds a bit harsh… but are you really? Or are you actually just treading water and bargaining with yourself?
I’ve experienced this harsh reality many times in my life.
It’s easy to tell ourselves that we’re doing all the work and that we’re about to have a breakthrough.
But are we really? Or are we spiritually bypassing… because that is more common than you realise.
I’ve done it and lots of my clients have done it too.
But there comes a point where something in you starts to push a bit harder.
And this feeling… this knowing that you need to do something different becomes harder to ignore. Harder to override. And it becomes harder for you to keep going back to what you already know isn’t right for you – and that just isn’t working anymore.
This could be about your relationships and how others treat you. It could be a job or location that just feels wrong now. It could be about your health, diet, lifestyle. It could be about your business and what you’re doing to try to make it work.
And that’s where this stops being about awareness. And starts becoming about a decision.
About how you choose to live, and what you choose to do… and it requires what I call being “brutally honest” with yourself about how you’re actually going to move forward from here.
Because nobody is going to come along and do this all for you. This is part of your personal growth and spiritual expansion
And once you’ve seen this, and felt it… there is a part of you that won’t let you settle in the same way anymore. Even if you try.
And I know that can feel really uncomfortable. I’ve been in that place many times and felt quite sick… because I know that this is necessary, and it’s a choice point. It’s as if your soul – the very core of your being – is asking more of you.
It asks you to stop circling.
To stop dipping in and out.
To stop telling yourself that you’ll do it later when x, y or z happens.
But if you find yourself in this space and you can sit with it and feel your way through it without distraction or bypass, you’ll realise that you are being invited to meet yourself where you are now… and move from there. And to find a way that actually supports you… consistently and ongoing.
This is usually the point where things begin to change.
Not because you’ve suddenly figured everything out… but because you’ve stopped avoiding what you already know.
This is the point where you shift your frequency and move into the level of Courage – or better yet, Willingness.
The courage to step forward and ask for the help you need… and the willingness to take the action steps required to stand in your truth and embody the highest version of yourself. And that’s when your success really begins to become inevitable.
