#42 Why Your Epiphanies Keep Fading – And What Actually Makes Them Stick

woman having a breakthrough moment
Have you ever thought you were stuck and didn’t know what to do next … only to realise you’d actually just fallen backwards to where you were before?

That happened for one of my clients this week. And the moment she saw it, something shifted.

We think that in order to make a massive change in our life we have to go through some huge awakening experience. But that’s not necessarily true. In many cases all we need is a small shift of perspective that we then hold consistently.

There are certain things that once you see them you can’t un-see them – and these are the moments that I’m talking about here.

An epiphany.

A lightbulb moment.

an “OMG how could I have missed that for so long?!” moment…

Those are the ones that hold the potential to change your life but here’s the thing that is sometimes not appreciated: a breakthrough without an environment to sustain it is just a beautiful moment of realisation that eventually fades.

How many times have you had an epiphany that you swore was a life-changing moment only to look back some time later and realise that nothing really changed… You’re still the same now. Nothing improved in your life and you’re still asking the same questions now and wondering why you never seem to get ahead.

Has that happened to you?

It certainly has happened to me… many times in fact.

I used to ask why, but I know now. It’s because it was just me on my own, trying to hold myself at a higher level, and I had nobody around me that could support me to hold that vision.

Sure, I had friends that I used to talk to about things that would come up, or realisations I had, but those conversations didn’t hold me. There was no accountability there and sometimes my friends didn’t even know what I was talking about – particularly if it was something to do with consciousness or frequency – because they just couldn’t meet me at that level. They hadn’t been there or done that ahead of me, so they simply didn’t know and they couldn’t see it or feel it with me.

Sometimes when I left I felt more alone than ever.

And because of that there are things that I couldn’t share with them… I couldn’t share my wildest visions, my hopes and dreams for the future. Those went into my journal. Some of which never saw the light of day until recently when I found them all again.

Having read through them now I see that I was spot on with many of my visions and prophecies but some of these had been laughed at by my friends because as much as we were good friends, we just weren’t on the same wavelength when it came to conversations about life purpose and soul mission.

I think this is one of the things that I love most about my Sanctuary group. The women in there are amazing because they just know that this is their tribe and that “we” are “their people” and we’re on the same wavelength.

I feel blessed that this group of women recognised the energy transmission within my work and came together. That’s exactly how it should be.
My new group The Threshold has not fully formed yet. We are still awaiting another few of “our people” to come and join us.

I am very particular about calling in the right people to my groups and to work with me privately because alignment is important to me.

You won’t see me doing massive launches with funnels and deadlines. That’s not my style – I’ve tried it in the past and hated every moment of it. So now I’m back to doing it “my way” because I KNOW that the right people always see me and find me. That’s alignment – both with me and with what I offer – and that’s how it’s supposed to work.

If there’s something that interests you in what I’m talking about or what I offer, then follow that feeling. DM me and let’s talk about whether either of my groups could support you and your vision.

Let’s keep in touch!
